We have two days on board, at sea, to investigate prior to arriving at our first port.
And then two days before disembarking in Sydney.
First impression . . .
Old fashioned, but clean.
Good variety of venues for meals,
Good evening entertainment,
Plenty of comfortable places for quiet times to read.
Arrived on board in time for lunch . . .
Menu varied for each siting/meal.
Great variety of food and Fantastic service.
We found plenty of quiet places to curl up and read, depending on the weather and time of day.
I'm reading The Toy Maker, by Liam Pieper . . and Washington Black by Esi Edugyan.
John Fowels, The Magus is next to be followed by Only the Animals by Ceridwen Dovey.
Cameron is reading The ship that never was by Adam Courtenay to be followed by Saga Land by Richard Fidler and Kari Gislason....
Considering we are on a floating vessel, the entertainment of an evening is exceptional.
Opera meets pop? Movies under the stars, magic and comedy, cultural demonstrations.
Also lots we didn't see . . swimming, dancing, joga, meditation, art auctions etc,
